Full Preparations Made For Event, Which Occurs Tonight
This evening occurs the annual New Year’s ball, given by the Masonic lodge, which will be one of the important social functions of the season. The opera house is being decorated for the occasion, while in the hall will be placed card tables for those who wish to pass the time in this diversion. A program of music will be given here, and later in the evening a banquet in the dining hall.
