Charlotte has purchssed over 128,000 bushels of wheat since tbe 1st of last July.

Potatoes have been sold at Charlotte as low as 12 1/2c.

Mrs. Joseph Muskgrave, of Cbarlutte, now visitlng at tbe residence of her daughter in Ohio, recently fell down stairs, breaking ber arm and otherwise injuring ber.

Mr. Gillespie, of Charlotte, wbo was seriously injured tbe 4th of Oct. while on tbe excursion to Chicago, will soon be about again.

The Charlotte Republican of last week published the decision of Judge Vanzile in the will case of Zara Berry, deceased. The will was declared valid and properly executed.

E. Sheppard, of Charlotte, recently brought suit against Prof. Tower, principal of the schools of tbat city, for punishing his son. Tbe Professor was acquitted.

Jas. M. Anson, of Bellevue, speared two pickerel in the pond at that place one of which weighed 10 1/2 and the other 7 1/2 pounds.

The Bellevue Gazette man had a serious attack of the moving epidemic list week.

Rev. John Levington gave an anti-Masonic lecture at Eaton Rapids last week, and the Journal thinks there is too much swamp land in Michigan that needs ditching for John to waste his energies in the lecture field.
