Our Streets were full of teams during the entire day, last Saturday, and our Business Men were all smiles. They have a good reason to look cheerful at the sight of customers, as during the past, the roads have been so rough that no one came to town excepting when necessity compelled them to.

—All persons indebted to J. S. Holmes please call and settle your accounts by the 15th of February, and oblige your humble servant.

The Donation on Wednesday was a complete success. The net profit of the Donations and supper was $109.27; the Cash receipts were $60.05. The Masonic and Good Templars Halls were well filled and all in attendance had a very pleasant time. The amount realized was considerably more than was expected could have been realized, taking the time of year and the hard times into consideration.

There are one or two young men who have ordered work of us, whose orders we have complied with, but the young men don’t call with the stamps. Gentlemen if you can be bought as cheap as that we’ll make it a little more and give your names together with amount and mention what was ordered, if not paid inside of two weeks. Yes, we think that will show you to the business men, so that they will be apt to give you credit.
