Shot His Brother

SAD RESULTS OF A QUARREL AT WILLIAMSTON

Williamston, Mich., Sept. 30 – Simon and Seth Kent, brothers, who have farms south of the village, went to Mason yesterday, and while there quarreled over some business. After returning home the quarreling was renewed. Simon became enraged and seized a double-barreled gun and fired both barrels at his brother.

One charge entered Seth’s eye, the other struck him in the side. He fell, bathed in blood. Everything possible was done for him, and this morning he was still alive, but small hopes are entertained for his recovery.
