Church and Card Party

The regular meeting of the O. E. S will be held this (Friday) evening in Masonic hall.

Regular meeting of Happy Home hive next week Wednesday evening in Maccabee hall.

The W. F. M. S. of the M. E. church will meet at the home of Mrs. Dr. Schilts next Monday evening.

Regular meeting of R. A. M. next Monday evening; dinner at 6:30 p. m. and work in the Royal Arch degree.

Mrs. Fred Decke will entertain the Entre Nous club this (Friday) afternoon at her home on Jackson street.

Trinity Guild will meet next week Wednesday in parish hall. Mrs. Knickerbocker and Mrs. Guy Little will act as hostesses.

Mrs. J. B. Allen will entertain the Silvertop circle next week Tuesday afternoon. A program will be given and refreshments served.

Circle No. 4 of the Congregational church will meet next Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. J. A. Holaday, 115 North Clinton street.

The Dimondale district of the Eaton county Sunday School association will meet Sunday at the Presbyterian church in Dimondale. Several people here plan to attend.

Grand Ledge chapter O. E. S. has received an invitation to visit Mullken chapter next week Friday night and will decide the matter at the regular meeting Friday evening.

The Eaton county association of the Ladies of the Maccabees will be entertained by the Grace Pierce hive in Eaton Rapids at an all day meeting May 23rd. All members of the order are invited to attend.

The G. T. S. class of the Methodist church passed a pleasant evening Wednesday at the home of Harry Manning on Wright street. Light refreshments were served. After the business session the time was passed in games and contests. The committee for the month had charge of the program.

The Women’s association of the Congregational church will meet next Wednesday with Mrs. Stanley Ainsworth. The program will be in charge of the misionary committee and the study of India will be continued. The general subject will be Cooperation of the Christian West. A large attendance is desired.
