A lodge of sorrow was held at the Masonic hall, Wednesday evening, in memory of theirdeparted brother, Samuel Chadwick. Only the members of the F. & A. M. and O. E. S. with a few friends were present, besides the members of the family of the deceasd. Special music was furnished, together with the impressive service of the lodge, and a short address was delivered by John W. Ewing.

The Royal Circle will give a box social at the G. A. R. hall, Saturday evening, Feb. 28. Everybody invited, ladies bring box with luuch for two. Coffee will be furnished. Boxes 25 cents.
