Resolutions

Adopted by Grand Lodge No. 179 F. & A. M.

Whereas, By the sudden death of our brother, Wm. R. Pierce, we are again reminded that the Great Reaper of the universe is gathering his harvest,

Whereas, The ties that bind the Masonic fraternity together are brotherly love, relief and truth and by the death of our brother we are called upon to mourn the loss of one who was always at his post of duty Therefore be it

Resolved, That the charter of our Lodge be draped in mourning the usual time, and that we extend to the family our sympathy in their sorrow and commend them to God

Resolved, That these resolutions be made a part of the records of the Lodge by being spread in the Memorial Book for Records and published in the Grand Lodge papers and a copy sent to the bereaved family.

George W Hilliker,

J. Mason Soper,

V. M. Kent, Committee.
