Clyde Raymond Taylor

Clyde Raymond Taylor, formerly of Grand Ledge, passed away Friday, December 17th, at his home in Grand Rapids following an illness of about six months.

He was the son of Eli and Elizabeth Taylor, long time residents of this city and was born July 10, 1886 on a farm in Delta Township, later moving to Oneida Township where he attended school.

In 1911 he was united in marriage to Miss Orma Hart of this place and they made their home here until eight years ago when they moved to Grand Rapids. Besides the widow he is survived by his two children, Yvonne and Bruce, his parents, one brother Roy Taylor of Cass City and many friends. Mr. Taylor was a member of the K. of P. and Masonic Lodges of Grand Rapids.

Services were conducted Sunday in Grand Rapids and at two o’clock Monday here at the home of his parents, Rev. J. E. Foote officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.

Relatives from out of town who were here to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Holloway of Findlay, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Taylor of Alma, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Benjamin of Lansing and several friends from Grand Rapids and other points.
