Judge McPeek Speaker Here

He and Other Notables on Past Masters Night Program

About two hundred members and visitors were in attendance upon Grand Ledge Masonic lodge at their annual Past Masters night.

Work was begun in the afternoon and a banquet from seven to nine followed by several speakers. H. D. Towner acted as toast master and introduced the speakers in his well known happy way. Among the speakers of the occasion were Judge R. R. McPeek of Charlotte, who spoke on Masonic principles and Templarism and reviewed the history of the Past Masters and members of this lodge. He was followed by Edwin Mackey, Emminent Commander of Lansing Commandry. Hon. Donald Sessions also of Lansing was introduced who talked on Fraternalism and what Masonry means to the Individual and told of the order as connected wiht the early history of our country and pleaded for those present to apply the prniciples in their attitude on all questions for decision. Eminent Commander Frank Reed of Charlotte Commandry also was a speaker at the Banquet board.

The Past Masters were tendered the several stations and put on the work in a pleasing and commendatory manner and, received the wholehearted applause of the craft.

Howard Hahn, the latest Past Master was the recipient of a beautiful Past Master’s Apron.
