Our Masonic Activities

The Royal Arch Chapter held a regular convocation Monday evening with a fair attendance. This was the last meeting before calling off for the summer. The next regular meeting for the resumption of the Chapter will be the first Monday in October.

Wednesday evening the Blue Lodge met in regular communication. It was decided to recess for the summer. No work will be done during July and August.

The Master Mason degree will be conferred Wednesday night of next week upon several candidates. Refreshments will be served at the close of the lodge following the degrees.

The Fellowcraft club made an excellent report on the Masonic dance given last week at the Seven Islands at which a neat sum was realized. The club has some other activities planned for the summer and fall.

Clare Starke was again at his accustomed place and hand shaking with his many friends.

Worshipful Master W. H. Briggs attended the Grand Lodge communication at Pontiac last week and gave a partial report of the Grand Lodge proceedings. He expects to amplify his report at the Special Communication next Wednesday. It will be of interest to all Masons of the State of Michigan and especially the local lodge to hear it.
