Word has been received here of the death of Oscar Case at his home in Lake View. Mr. Case was an old resident of this community Funeral services were held at De Witt and burial at South Riley.

Some friends of Chester Field, attended his funeral in Lansing Saturday. Mr. Field was an old resident of Watertown. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a charter member of the Wacousta O. E. S.

    The Masonic Lodge held a conclave in their hall, Wednesday afternoon and evening, when several candidates were initiated. The ceremonies occupied the afternoon and evening session, intervened by a supper at 6:30, at which about 100 people were served. Neighboring lodges were represented.
