Royal Arch Masons Enjoy a Royal Evening

A Fine Dinner Preceeded Chapter Work

Last Thursday evening, April 11, was outstanding in Royal Arch Mason circles when the degree was conferred on Floyd Merritt, Gall Anibal and Elmer Wier by the Saginaw Chapter, No. 31. At 6:45 a dinner was served, those present numbering nearly one hundred. Credit for the bountiful dinner is given Everett Wells, chairman of that committee. After the dinner the above mentioned chapter with John P. Wood as High Priest, conferred the degree in a very efficient and impressive manner. The following chapters were represented, Salina, Joppa, and Saginaw Valley from Saginaw; Flint, Ann Arbor, Howell, Williamston, Lansing, Mason, Leslie, Portland, Ionia, Bellevue, Charlotte, Eaton Rapids and New York. The guests left for thelr various homes at a late hour all feeling that they had enjoyed a fine time.
